Rehearsals

Well, the Sports Rehearsals were okay this year... The main highlight for me? Tripping before sliding 10 feet in the mud. :)

Met some old buddies AND made some new ones. The list of names are probably too long to be even published here. From my experience, I gotta say, Damansarans are fun(ny). Plus, very entertaining.

I wouldn't say I did great for running, but along the way I made more friends, raced a few and jumped over a yellow pole suspended between two posts (without dropping it mind you). :D

Been practising on the drums since Wednesday, and let me tell you, my arms are like jelly now. Watch out Sports Day, something impressive is coming your way. ;)

Rekindled Relations

I found my distant cousins (Australia) and uncle (16 this year and in the UK)! All thanks to my buddy and pal, Facebook. Gosh, it does help.

This Is How It Begins.

So well, as most of you have heard/read, I've started drawing again. *Thank the Heavens.

My current focus is on the COG Trooper, specifically Sergeant Marcus Fenix, from the Xbox 360 and PC epic, Gears of War. Still clueless? Wikipedia's my recommended search engine. ;)

This post is dedicated to the wonderful Prefects' Board of Cempaka Cheras (Sorry, Damansara! I'll write one as soon as I get to know you guys!). They're a tough bunch of people that know how to handle the most unthinkable of situations. I speak from experience. They've lent a welcoming hand to those in need. Whenever I was down (or cramped up), a hand reached out, pulled me back up and gave me hope. The hand of a board that's so unified, they're considered to be of One Body, One Mind and One Soul.

A Paragraph of Commemoration - Kimberley Tan

This one's for a good friend of mine, Kimberley.

"Look up 'Best Friend' or 'The One (as she likes to put it)' in Wikipedia and you might probably see a picture and complete autobiography of Kimberley Tan. It's either that or you'll see the face of one very familiar sarcastic, funny and witty writer. So why should her name be up there? Loads of reasons. When you need someone to talk to, she'll be there. When you need someone to perk or cheer you up, she'll be there. When you need an extra quarter to buy a Milo Ice, she'll be there. Kimberley is someone that I'd classify as the perfect friend. She's been with me through thick and thin for about a year now and it's been friggin' awesome. There's nothing I've ever hidden from her and I'm planning to keep it that way. Even though it's only been probably a year and a half that I've known her, there's still years ahead waiting. Gonna be one helluva ride."
