Left Alone

Vikram and I were the only Year 9s in school today.

* Ellya had dance practises.

Majority of the Year 9 weren't in school. Those Year 9-ers that did come, went on some field trip to ASWARA (a cultural and arts centre of sorts).

The International Population was extremely small today. In short, today was like I Am Legend. Except there were two protagonists (*wink wink) and everybody else wasn't mindless nocturnal, hairless, hissing, hyperventilating blood-suckers suffering from measles. :)

The Bunkers also left for Malacca today. Before I left for school at 0600, I had a brief chat with Ben in my room.

* Only the table lamp was on, so the room was barely lit. Ben was still in bed, I was all ready for school. I walked out from the bathroom, he turned around; bright awake.

Benjamin: Looking all smart, aint'cha.
Bernard: Had a good sleep?
Benjamin: Heh, fairly. You have the most annoying alarm clock. It's like some sort of blinking rooster.
Bernard: Try waking up to that for 11 years. I guess I'll catch you later, when you come back up [from Malacca].
Benjamin: Yeah, I suppose. Do hope we get to catch up again.
Bernard: You go have fun in Malacca, alright? Go get those satays you've been dreaming about.
Benjamin: Haha, yeah. Gonna be seeing loads of old people. Hey, do you leave for school with your sister (sounded like sista)?
Bernard: Urm, yeah I do. Why?
Benjamin: Cause she just came in here half an hour ago.
Bernard: Holy Hand-baskets.

* If all goes well, I'll be seeing them before they return to England. And if we're all lucky, they'll be coming to Commencements. ;D
