All at the same time.
In short, prom was a memorable experience and from this first prom - you can tell it won't be my last.
The performances were truly lovely, with love songs all around. It was quite romantic, you know?
There was all sort of dancing: slow dancing, random dancing, West Side Story dancing (Muhaimin's Step, I'm looking at you), the good 'ol party dancing, some weird sort of long train-dancing thing, plain whacko dancing & competitive dancing (as in we form a circle and people just start pushing one another in to a dance showdown).
The emcees were as funny and spontaneous as ever; Julian and Daryl, amazing job guys.
The Grand Ballroom was amazingly decorated; roses, balloons, candles, the whole she-bam. The tables were lovely, the food exquisite if I do say so myself. The only problem about the venue: it was smack in the city where all the traffic jams reside - and oh, it was raining. Joy.
Ellya and I had to walk part of the way there. Parents couldn't even drive to the front of the place. Figures.
The problem was nobody kept their masks on the entire time - except maybe Muhaimin.
Now don't get me wrong, it was a magnificent night, but I feel it would have been so much nicer if I didn't have to go alone.
UPDATE: Oh, and the free ticket? Well, it didn't exactly go to waste. I gave it to Joshua so he wouldn't have to burn 150 in one night.
Would've been nice if I could've given it to a girl though - sorry Josh, I'm definitely not insulting your femininity; just saying you're not a girl [well, at least not my type] is all. Totally no offence.
